I will never forget when my school music teacher said conducting was an option for me.  Next thing I knew I was stood in front of the school wind orchestra waving a baton and I fell in love with conducting.

"There is nothing quite like taking up the podium, giving the downbeat and hearing the sounds of the orchestra filling your ears."

Conducting has been a passion of mine ever since that day.  I have had the privilege of directing many fantastic ensembles from piano quintets whilst playing the harpsichord to full scale orchestras.  The opportunity to study a composers score and look for where I can add my own interpretations is something I never grow tired of.  Something that is particularly close to my heart is musical theatre and I have been very lucky to have "MD'd" many productions including Grease, The Rocky Horror Picture Show and my most recent collaboration where I joint directed the music for Jacob's Well's production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat
